There’s something about fresh flowers in a home that really liven up the space and give it personality. I love creating flower arrangements whether they are formal or thrown together. No matter what, a display of fresh flowers is a great way to add life to your space this summer. If you think that your flower arranging skills are non existent, than this post is for you. I am no florist either, but with my easy tips and tricks you can make a beautiful bouquet that looks like it came straight from the floral shop. Make sure to read all the way to the bottom of this post as my friends are sharing summer garden tips and tricks as well. I did not spend a ton of money on this arrangement. In fact, a lot of the florals I got straight from my own garden! This is the first time I have cut hellebore and used it inside and I am never not doing this! The muted tones go perfectly with the eucalyptus that I purchased from the grocery store. I have many different colors of peonies in my garden but opted for the light pink in this arrangement. Keeping the whole floral arrangement very muted was key for me. When I had used up all the eucalyptus from the grocery store and picked all my hellebores and peonies, I filled in with faux white tulips and anemones. Don’t be afraid to mix realistic faux floral in with your real flowers! In fact, mine looked so real that after this arrangement was wilted, my daughter through them all away including my faux ones. Please don’t make this mistake! Here are some of my favorite faux florals to mix in with your real flowers, as well as some of my favorite vases for arranging flowers!
