I thought the shape and the simplicity of these was so great.
I loved the wood color on them too, but decided to make them a bit more my own.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED-
You only need 4 things to make these. Mini wooden Christmas trees A drill Suede cord Paint Here is what mine looked like straight from the store.
The first thing you will want to do is to drill a hole through the top of each.
I did this by marking each side with a sharpie and then just simply drilling through with a large enough drill bit to allow for my suede cord to go through.
While you could certainly stop there, I decided the sparkly white was a little too bright for my taste.
So the next step was putting a bit of black paint in a disposable cup and dipping the tip of the tree in the paint to cover the white.
Once dry you can string your suede cord through the hole and tie off to the desired length.
Hang them on your tree and sit back and enjoy your handiwork!
