I have a fun holiday wreath hack for you!
Today I am going to show you how to take an inexpensive store bought fake wreath and customize it to look lush and full.
The best part is that you can re-use this wreath year after year!
This is the exact wreath I used.
I chose it because it was inexpensive and came with battery powered lights on it.
When you get your wreath out of the packaging it will look very sad, something like this:
You will want to fluff all the branches to make it look full. Point them in every which way until it looks good to your eye.
Put your batteries in and choose from the 8 different lighting options.
I like mine in the “steady on” but there’s so many options to choose from.
This is what mine looked like after I messed with the branches:
Next is the step that really makes this hack!
Go out into your yard with some clippers and snip little pieces of cedar, pine, holly, berries, etc.
If you don’t live in an area where you can do this, your grocery store should sell bouquets of greenery you can cut from.
I hung my wreath for the next step to make it easier, but it is not necessary.
All you need to do is simply tuck in your greenery all around the wreath until it looks full and not a lot of the faux branches are showing.
There’s no need to add water, it should last all season for you!
To finish it off I added a ribbon to the base and attached it with a zip tie.
See how easy this transformation is?
When the season is over, simply discard any fresh greenery and store the faux wreath until next year.

I love this so much for its beautiful simplicity! Just lovely! It seems to be missing the link for the wreath (the link isn’t working). Could you possibly share it with us? Thank you!
