How to add spring touches to your dining room.I recently did a post on updates in our dining room which you can see here.
But today I want to show you how to add spring touches to your dining room simply by doing a couple simple things!
ART:
If you have winterish art on your walls, swap them out with different art to blend in with the season.
I love these ski prints but wanted they didn’t feel very appropriate for spring and summer.
So I swapped them out for new art keeping the same size so I didn’t have to make anymore holes in the wall.
I love horses so I chose equestrian pieces.
I have a special promo code for you from Minted at the bottom of this post, keep reading to get the special offer!
For reference, all my art is 30×24, matted, and framed in matte black metal.
FAUX/DRIED FLORALS:
cream queen anne’s lace {what I have in my vase here}
If you don’t want to spend the money on fresh flowers every month, dried florals or realistic good quality faux florals might be your best bet.
I have to admit, I never used to be a faux floral girl, that is until I found these. For reference, I have 6 in my vase. It is initially an investment, but in the long run I will save so much on flowers.
By doing a couple quick changes I was able to give this room a fresh feel for the upcoming months.
Once winter hits, I will swap the art back out to the ski prints, and store the horse art until spring.
You can get all the sources for our dining room in this post.
