I think I finally found the cure for my heart break.
Meet Oakley.
He is 8 weeks tomorrow and is a total goof.
I am getting no sleep, and I don’t even care because we nap together on the couch.
Total snuggle bug.

I love baby animals of almost every kind (mice…not so much; bats…not at all) but, as a lab owner/lover, there is nothing cuter than a lab pup. He is adorable. Good luck with the potty training.

he's adorable! so happy for you! we lost our charlie the day after thanksgiving. we still have 10 year old jake, and for now he is getting spoiled. my heart is still so broken over charlie. i am so glad your heart is mending. and what a sweet face to help mend it.

So happy for you and your family Melaine. He's simply adorable! I've been following your blog closely, hoping for good news of Harley ever since he went missing. My cat Harley was dealing with blindness about that time and I felt your pain. He passed away Oct.11 and we found out he'd had a brain tumor. He was absolutely the best – the sweetest cat I've ever met – and I haven't been able to adopt a new one just yet. So glad to see you have a new snuggle buddy, it gives me hope.

Boy, aren't lab pups the best? We have a 13yr old yellow lab…she's an old girl now. And we had to put down our beloved Maggie, a 13 yr old black lab, this past summer due to cancer. A heartbreaker for sure. And every morning that I went on your blog, I hoped for good news that Harley came back home. Hoping this little babe melts your heart!! xoxo

There isn't much cuter than a lab puppy. Oakley is beautiful! This is our first Christmas without our yellow lab, Molly. She passed away in Nov. We miss her beyond belief. So happy for you family and this new baby. It doesn't replace Harley, just adds to your family. Happy Holidays!
