If you have been following along for a while now, you know that I have been giving our master bedroom a bit of a makeover. 


We desperately needed new furniture. 


I loved our nightstands but they were old and the drawers weren’t working very well. I was also tiring of the chippy paint look. 


We also needed a larger dresser for all our clothes. Our master closet, while it is a walk in, isn’t that huge, so a bigger dresser was a necessity. 


Our old bed-while I liked the headboard, I wanted a complete bed. It was a great bed but never felt like grown up furniture if you know what I mean. 


I was going to get another upholstered bed, but a friend suggested to me that I do wood since we have so much carpeting in our room {my husband won that argument}


So I went with this bed and I have to say, I love it and it is so affordable. 
The headboard is a little massive, still trying to figure out what to do there to make it look less so.

The marble lamp I repurposed from another room in our home.

For a pop of color I added this fern in my new favorite vase. I had been wanting this vase for a while now, and I have to say, I am so happy I got it! You can find it here in 2 colors if you want one for yourself!
