Welcome to our summer home tour 2022!
We are so ready for the warmer weather and to be able to spend more time outdoors!
Today I am sharing our dining room and kitchen!
Our kitchen is actually about to get a little facelift, so definitely come back to see all the changes we are making.
I love, love, love decorating with neutrals.
My favorites are white/cream, black/gray, with wood tones.
You will see that theme throughout our home.
I think it creates a calming feeling, one that really resonates with me.
If you are a lover of natural, simple, neutral decor, you came to the right place!
Shall we start with the dining room?
DINING ROOM:
I recently went to a flea market where I found 5 of my new favorite pieces that are in this photo.
One is the paper mache bowl on the table, the tumbleweed inside of it, the wood sifter, the wood vase, and the wood cutting board.
I will link up similar items at the bottom of this post for you!
The picture ledge allows me to display some of my favorite family photos and other fun things.
It will be fun to rotate in items seasonally too!
These faux florals are literally my favorite!
I’m usually more of a real flower person, but the texture on these and the color is so good, I will probably leave them up year round.
I created a little bar area in the vintage wooden sifter. I added in a wood charger plate to act as a stable place for the bottles and cups to sit.

FAUX STEMS {for reference I have 6 stems}
KITCHEN:
The color scheme flows into the kitchen where we have light wood barstools and other natural elements.
Another vintage bowl holds a cascading plant, and I just filled it in with moss to cover up the soil.
The wine racks are fairly new and save a ton of space in our pantry.
I love the industrial look of them and putting all my pretty bottles on display.
We just purchased new shaker style cabinet doors and all the cabinets will be getting painted gray.
New hardware for them and a new backsplash are also in the works.
Please continue to follow along so you can see all the changes coming soon!
