There is a new Studio McGee collection out at Target and it is so good!
I went in and came out with a few new pieces that I am so in love with.
Today I would like to share with you how I incorporated those into an outdoor breakfast table for the summer!
We love having casual meals on our deck, especially a lazy Sunday breakfast or a late night dinner.
The pieces I picked out from the Studio McGee collection all have the best textures.
Nubby blankets to wrap around your shoulders on a chilly morning.
Great textured vases to display fresh or faux stems.
Stone pieces, wicker pieces, and the best smelling candles to make having a meal outdoors an experience for all your senses.
You don’t need to get fancy with your menu.
In fact I just grabbed what I had on hand.
Fresh fruit, croissants, cereal, and of course, fresh hot coffee!
TIP:
Take your foods out of their original packaging to give the space a more pleasing look.
You can see I took the croissants out of the plastic package and placed them in a bowl that goes with the other pieces on the table.
I also filled a footed glass bowl with the breakfast cereal, and poured the milk in a clear pitcher.
Remember to take the stickers off your fruit and place them in beautiful vessels too!
As I mentioned, I like to have plenty of blankets on hand. They are not only pretty to look at but keeping them nearby makes it easy to grab one on a chilly morning or evening.
I rolled up these gorgeous blankets into this log holder and it works perfectly!
Check out these gorgeous vases!
I got a small and a large to pair together.
I’m so excited to use these year round, indoors and out.
I put my favorite faux stems in them to tie in the new wreath.
This rattan tray makes carrying things from indoors to out a breeze.
And this cute marble dish could be used for so many things.
I put fruit in it here, but it would be great on a coffee table or in a bathroom too.
And lastly, this candle smells so good.
Like you are sitting in the middle of a garden in France. Best way I can think to describe it!
I hope you got some great ideas and are inspired to eat your next summer meal outdoors!
There is nothing like the fresh air, birds chirping, and sun shining to get your day started right.
