I am in the mood! No, not to get married again, but to attend a big old country wedding complete with BBQ ribs and lemonade! I met with someone today to show her the Crystal Lake Lodge as a venue for her wedding next July. Her fiance is from New Zealand and they want a big ol’ country wedding!
It got me thinking how much fun that would be to decorate!
Enjoy these images, mostly from Country Living…
I love the burlap here, wouldn’t burlap tablecloths be so great?
mix match plates, a inexpensive way to get a really custom unique look!

Little herb pots for your guests with your names handwritten on Popsicle sticks tucked inside!
You can always find little Terra cotta pots at garage sales for pennies!
Ahhh! Cupcakes AND a cake, lovely
Old soup cans painted up make inexpensive vases. A seed packet at each place setting is another clever gift for your guests!

Did you get your posting issue fixed? I had the same thing happen a time back and was told that I would have to reset the permissions??? I don 't remember exactly, but apparently I figured it out:)

My grandmother makes the lace like cups….they're great with candies or flower buds. I use the little cup designed to make votives in as a basin for the flowers.
Your wedding is a cheerful event I'd love to attend. Now all we need is to find a willing bride & groom.
This brings back memories of our wedding last summer—one year ago this Sunday..where does the time go?! We had a garden wedding and the reception was in my aunt and uncle's backyard. I should post pics sometime. I can't wait to blog after I am done studying for NCLEX!!
Lovely wedding decor photos… I especially like the old watering can floral arrangements…
Great pics, wish I had a glass of that lemonade :). Have a great girls weekend, GOD how I need one too :).
Oh..I love this post. My future DIL may want to get married in our garden…and there are some cute ideas here. I'll stash them away for the future! 🙂
