I am so excited to be sharing SUMMER content with you guys!
The doors are open, the birds are chirping, and the sun is slowly making an appearance in Seattle!
Today I am gathering with a few blogging friends to show you our own takes on summer mantel styling, shelf styling, and summer vignettes.
I don’t really ever decorate our mantle simply because there isn’t much room to do so without blocking the TV.

So I opted for a small vase on the mantle, in black of course, with contrasting snowball flowers from the yard.
I love this tree and honestly could fill my whole house with these blooms.
I kept the shelf decor pretty much the same.

I like to give these shelves a good wipe down at least once a month, and at those times I will sometimes add or subtract items depending on the season.

I am still waiting to find the perfect chair for this corner, but honestly I am not minding just having the pouf there!
It gets used as additional seating a lot!
However, I might just bite the bullet on this chair that I have literally been eyeing FOREVER.
What do you guys think?

Melanie I love your simple summer touches. It’s fun to see how you connect your shelf styling with your mantel since there is not much space. It’s beautiful and flows so well! Pinned!
Thank you so much! I do love my neutrals, haha!
Love the texture of the pieces – it adds so much interest!
This is so beautiful, Melaine! Love the summery touches!
Such pretty touches, Melaine! That bread bowl is so great and I love your art that you turned black and white. So pretty!
