Welcome welcome! Thank you for stopping by. Are you coming from my friend Lucy’s blog at
Craftberry Bush? I love her home. We share a similar style and I always like to see her home and fun DIY projects!
I am so happy you are here to take a tour of our home for Spring.
I must admit, I didn’t do much in the way of Spring decorating, but I gave the whole house a good Spring cleaning and it took on a new life.
Adding in some fresh greenery and flowers helped to pull everything together.
When you enter through our front door, this is the view you see.
You walk directly into the kitchen which forces me to keep it tidy!
A while ago I saw some ring top canisters at West Elm and fell in love with them, but not their hefty price tag. So I decided to DIY some, and I am over the moon happy with how they turned out.
To lighten things up a bit more, I placed all of our serving spoons and spatulas in a clear glass vase.
And plants scream Spring time to me. I do not have a green thumb but these little ferns I find at the grocery store. They are usually around $5, so I don’t feel horrible when one dies and I have to buy a new one.
Our dining room is next up and I have kept things pretty sparse in here intentionally.
I really need to change out the wall letters to something like, “go jump in the lake.”
The slipcovered chairs keep this room light and informal.
Our giant chandelier gives a ton of light. If you need a really large scale light fixture, I highly recommend this one. It’s perfect for vaulted ceilings.
Do you see the white vase in the picture above and below? That was the one I DIY’d recently out of a fish bowl style glass vase. If you missed that post, you need to go see it and make one of your own, so fun!
I will probably switch out the pillows this summer, but for now I am loving the tonal greys of this collection.
This week I’m joining some of my talented blogging friends for the Spring Seasonal Simplicity Series! All week long we are sharing our homes decorated for spring and our best tips and ideas for bringing a spring feel into your home. You can visit each tour by clicking on the links below the images!
