This recipe for soft and chewy molasses gingersnaps has been passed down generations!
molasses gingersnaps
Ingredients
- 3 sticks butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups flour
- 2 scant teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 2 t cinnamon
- 2 t cloves
- 2 t ginger
Instructions
- Blend in a mixer and form into balls. Roll each ball into a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
- Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 9 minutes.
- Take out while still gooey, and let cool on cookie sheet.
These are seriously the best cookies you will ever eat, ever. End of story.
