how to style your shelves for the holidays

Today I am going to share with you how to style your shelves for the holidays without spending a ton of money.

You can really add a lot of holiday charm just with greenery and ornaments.

Even placing wrapped packages on your shelves adds that Christmas touch, and you don’t need to be rushing out to buy all new Christmas decor!

To make sure everything is cohesive, stick with the color palette you already have in your space. If you want to introduce a new color at Christmas, do it in small doses.

I like to stick with neutrals but I wanted just a hint of red. You can see I got that by choosing art for our tv with just a touch of it.

You can also add in that warm feel that Christmas brings with “winter” items rather than items that scream Christmas. And these might be items that you already own!

Try birch logs, or plaid blankets rolled up in a basket, vintage brass candlesticks, pinecones in a pretty bowl, and candles.
