Do you make treats to hand out to friends and neighbors during the holidays?
We have one neighbor who is a great cook and she always brings us a big tray full of homemade cookies every year.
It is such a sweet treat and so this year I decided to try my hand at slow cooker fudge to hand out!
I love gifting homemade gifts.
A few that I have done in the past are:
But today is all about Chocolate!
I have had my eye on this slow cooker for a while now.
It is such a popular item that it was always sold out, so when I received the in stock notice, I jumped on it and got it.
I teamed up with Walmart on this post, but all the ideas are my own!
I honestly love that you can head to one store, and get everything on your list. From groceries to home goods to craft supplies.
I picked up the items to make this fudge and all the cute wrapping when I was there getting my booster shot!
Like I said, they have it all!

Here is how to make slow cooker fudge:
slow cooker fudge
Yield: 30 pieces
Ingredients
- 14 oz. chocolate chips (Milk or dark chocolate)
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- .5 ounce unsalted butter
Instructions
- prepare an 8X8 Pan by greasing and lining it with parchment paper.
- Place all the ingredients in a slow cooker.
- Turn the slow cooker to low and leave the lid off.
- Cook for one hour, stirring every 15-30 minutes.
- Once done, pour into the pan.
- Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
- Once set cut into squares.
- So easy!
Once it is cooled and cut into squares you can begin to package them up for gifting!
I chose these clear bags to put the fudge in. I did 7 pieces of fudge per bag.
Then I tied them up with this ribbon and added a cute little ornament to each one.
The fun part was shopping for the ornaments.
You want to make sure they are smallish because these aren’t the largest packages.
I found the “Holiday Time” brand mini ornaments to be the best.
You can also shop from their cute gift tags, but I liked the ornament option because it is like an extra gift for the recipiant.
Throw them all in a cute little holiday basket to hand out!
Everyone will be so thrilled you put the time and energy into making them a gift and making them feel special, and that is what the holidays are all about aren’t they?

Wow! This fudge looks delicious and your packaging is CHARMING. Question: I don’t have a slow cooker; how would you adapt the recipe?
Melaine Thompson says
I’d adapt it by buying a slow cooker! Haha, really though, you will get so much use out of it!
