Have you wanted to decorate your house for Halloween but don’t know where to begin?
I am here to help and with my tips, you should have your house spooky in no time!
The first thing I would like to point out is that you need to keep in mind of the colors your home already has in it.
Our home is very neutral so I like to keep my holiday decor pretty neutral.
If you have a bold colorful house, by all means, go crazy with color!
When you walk up to our front door you are greeted with plenty of pumpkins!
The front porch decor sets the tone for what you can expect to see inside.
These pumpkins were previously in the dining room which you will see, but they found a new home out here.
I think they make a happy little arrangement on the porch.
The chalk art is actually something I created to cover up our PUD power box.
It is on hinges so they can open it to read the meter.

Here are the pumpkins when I had them in the dining room.
I like sticking to a neutral color palette and then items can move from space to space and still work no matter where they are.
That life size pose-able skeleton is my favorite.
I got her last year here and she moves from room to room.
I had fun decorating outdoors this year.
Lots of new Fall plantings and white pumpkins galore.

You will find all the project sources as well!
And just in case you missed it, you’ll definitely want to check out my haunted houses I created this year.
I took dollhouses and birdhouses, all from thrift shops and spray painted them black.
Then I added flickering tea lights to the insides to create a spooky ambiance.
