Make this a Thanksgiving to remember!
Thanksgiving is Thursday November 24th this year.
How to set the ultimate Thanksgiving table-
I love creating beautiful table settings for guests and for the holidays.
Thanksgiving is one of those that that gets my creative juices flowing.
This year I knew I wanted something subtle, earthy, natural, and subdued.
I used a combination of things I already had on hand, new items that shipped quick, {thank goodness for Amazon Prime} and a few thrifted items.
I knew I wanted a large centerpiece that would help pull everything together.
This large earthy pot was perfect.
I was a little nervous when ordering because it mentioned it had orange colors. But I was pleasantly surprised to see the orange was more of a terracotta brown than anything.
The texture on this pot is gorgeous and I can’t wait to style it in other areas of our home after the holiday.
I filled it with some faux florals I had from a local shop, but I think these would look great too. Of course, you could always use branches from your yard.
I don’t normally use table runners as we have a round table.
However I had these two chunky knit runner I found second hand and thought they added a great cozy texture.
I brought inside a few muted pumpkins leftover from Halloween and placed them around the large centerpiece.
I found these great candles at CB2.
I placed them in these large taper candle holders and scattered them around the table.
There’s nothing like dining by candlelight, love it!
I have a collection of vintage glasses that I like to use for special occasions, Thanksgiving being one of them.
I found these great green cloth napkins and slipped them through my DIY zebra hide napkin rings.
Click here to see how I made those!
I did find these though if you’d rather purchase them instead of making your own.
I got out our trusty black silverware but opted for some new stoneware dishes.
I fell in love with the irregular shape of the dinner plates and the reactive glaze on the salad plates.Â
The bowls are the perfect size for any Thanksgiving sides like cranberry sauce.
The best part is that all the dishes are dishwasher safe!
And I always love having a water pitcher on the table so people can easily refill their glasses.
