Hello friends! Today I wanted to share with you a tablescape I put together using things I already own, but adding in some fresh flowers. This is part of a blog hop I am doing with my friends. Please read all the way to the bottom of this post to see their spring table DIY ideas. The purpose of this blog hop is to show all of you different do it yourself ideas for a pretty spring table. I thought long and hard about this. Spring is a tricky one for me because it typically means softer colors, pastels, florals, etc. My design aesthetic tends to lend itself the opposite direction with bold contrast, a very neutral color scheme, and the “less is more” approach. So I hope you like my take on my spring table and can gather inspiration from it, no matter what your aesthetic is! The jumping off point for me was to do a large centerpiece out of fresh spring flowers. I chose a subtle two tone look using white hydrangeas with a lighter white flower all around the rim. I went all the way around the outer rim of my vase and then simply filled in the center with the hydrangeas. I love the subtle two tone look it gives and the contrast with the dark vase. You can shop everything in this post at the bottom of this page, so be sure to read all the way down! I set the table with my black dishes and light grey napkins to brighten it up a bit. Then I added two black candlesticks with lighter candles for the contrast. My new favorite water pitcher, and voila! Super simple but elegant and very pretty, and the flowers make it very spring like and fresh! Click on the links below this photo collage to shop our spring dining room table setting!
