This skull snack board is a twist on a typical charcuterie board.
It is perfect for your Halloween festivities and really simple to put together with a tiny trick I have up my sleeve.
It may look complicated but here is my trick, and I learned this because I totally failed the first time I made it.
Start by printing out this image.
Get it as large as you can on one sheet of paper, then cut around the outline.
Place your cutout on a cutting board and start filling in each area with candy and nuts, etc.
This is similar to a coloring book except you are using food instead of crayons or pens!
It helps keep everything proportionate and in the right location.
Here are the food items I used but you can totally get creative with this!
Reeses peanut butter cups for eyes, with chocolate chips in the center.
White chocolate chips scattered all over. These make great filler pieces.
Coconut chips work great for the edges as they have a natural curvy shape to them.
Oreo fudge covered bites randomly placed.
White fudge covered Flipz pretzels scattered throughout.
Licorice twizzlers, cut down for mouth.
Macadamia nuts scattered throughout.
Raffaello almond coconut treats randomly placed.
White meringue cookies placed randomly.
Once the entire thing is put together you can’t even see the “pattern” underneath.
Of course you can get creative and try it without a pattern.
I think a ghost would be cute too!
These dessert/snack boards are perfect for a kids party and chic enough for an adult party!
Isn’t it so cute?
If you’d like to share the love, I would love it if you would pin any of these images to your Halloween/Fall boards.
And if you do make one, please make sure and tag me on Instagram so I can see @mysweetsavannah
And if you like easy Halloween desserts, be sure to try out my post on how to decorate a store bought cake for Halloween.
No one will know that you didn’t purchase it from a fancy bakery!

Happy creating my friends!
