We’ve all been passing around the crud here, so posting may be
a little spotty over the next week or so, sorry about that.
I hope all of you are staying healthy, this is not fun!
So for todays thrifty Thursday project I have something super simple.
Directions are not even needed.
Last weekend we were traveling for my daughters soccer, and came across a recycle yard.
It was one that looked like it had really good junk, so I made my husband pull over.
A few minutes later I emerged from the wreckage with a plow blade and a conveyer roller.
He looked at me like I was crazy.
But look how cute they are when paired together?
who knew tractor parts could be so chic!

That's a disc, and it sure is cute.
From Tillage: Tillage Implements
Disc Plough
The disc plough bears little resemblance to the common mouldboardplough. A large, revolving, concave steel disc replaces the share and the mouldboard. The disc turns the furrow slice to one side with a scooping action. The usual size of the disc is 60 cm in diameter and this turns a 35 to 30 cm furrow slice. The disc plough is more suitable for land in which there is much fibrous growth of weeds as the disc cuts and incorporates the weeds. The disc plough works well in soils free from stones. No harrowing is necessary to break the clods of the upturned soil as in a mouldboard plough.
