This whipped feta and honey dip is the perfect appetizer to bring to your next gathering!
Trust me when I say, you are going to want to make this as soon as possible!
It is rich with flavors combining honey, two cheese blends, pistachio nuts, garlic, and chives.
I like to serve this with crackers or pita chips, and everyone loves it!
There are many different variations of this dip.
Some add thyme, some have ricotta cheese in them, but I think this is my favorite.
The whipped feta and cream cheese in this recipe create a salty fluffy dip which everyone is sure to love.
If you have leftovers, this is great as a spread on sandwiches!
You can also make this ahead of time and store it in the fridge until you are ready to serve it!
INGREDIENTS:
4 oz crumbled  or block Feta cheese
4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp chopped basil
1/4Â CÂ honey
1 Tbsp chopped pistachios
1 tsp finely chopped chives
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS-
In a food processor, combine both feta and cream cheese and olive oil until cheese are well combined and smooth. Add basil and garlic and mix well.
Scoop cheese out of the food processor onto a small plate or into a shallow bowl. Use a large spoon to create a well in the center of the cheese. Fill the well with honey. Garnish the sides of the well with chives, pistachios and black pepper.
Serve with warm pieces of pita bread or crackers.
Optional- Add thyme or rosemary for additional garnish.
The combination of these ingredients is seriously to die for.
The crunch, the creamy, the whipped, the smooth and the salty.
It is that good! I hope you make it for your next gathering!
