Oh the smells and tastes of Fall.
There really is nothing quite like it.
This is the time of year that I do a lot of baking, crock pot meals, and family dinners.
I also love to bake for family and friends.
This super easy pecan spice biscotti recipe will hopefully get you in the mood for fall too!
It has 6 ingredients and you can tailor it to suit your taste. If you don’t like pecans, perhaps you will add chocolate chips or dried cranberries instead?
The secret ingredient which makes this recipe so simple is a box of spice cake mix!
Keep reading to get the recipe!
Once your dough is all mixed up {recipe at the bottom of this post}
you will form your dough into two logs like this.
Make sure you line your baking sheet with parchment paper. I forgot this step and the bottom of mine burnt a bit.
While they are baking your house will smell delicious. No candles needed, just the aroma of cinnamon and spice!
They will come out of the oven looking like loaves of bread.
Let them cool and then you can slice them up!
How pretty are these?
I think the pecans give them a nice rustic texture.
